The iconography seen in the centre of the image is derived from the beautiful, minute ink drawings of the four evangelists in their symbolic forms from the book of Armagh by the monk and scribe Ferdomnach. These small icons provided the inspiration for an illuminated depiction of each Evangelist to convey the essence of their writings. The back of each card also has original poetry to further capture the essence of each saint | |||
