6-Digital Re-painting
I had finished the glass painting, I had tried to do it pretty fast, but I'm quite happy with it and I think it works well as a glass painting but I decided that if I wanted to create a card that would be worth buying in its own right I would have to touch it up a bit. Also, (more importantly) I realised that I had not done justice to the individual little faerie and Imp designs that Marchella (of Gossamer Glen) had kindly allowed me to use. It dawned on me that this was really a collaboration of designers.
So I set about entirely re-painting the image digitally on Photoshop with the glass painting acting as a base. I believe the glass painting was essential as it gave me more vibrant and full colours to work with than I would otherwise have had. Below I have done a brief before-and-after of different parts on the image. Like one of them extreme make-over tv shows or something.!

So now with all of the picture re-painted I felt like I had a more printable and polished image! Now it is an image as opposed to a photograph of a glass painting. And that is what I wanted. I also feel now that Marchella's little creations actually feature properly with all of their individual personalities, I hope!

RIGHT, so now it's off to the printers!
If anyone wishes to purchase any of these cards, or a batch of them to sell for the charity (which would be great), please let me know with a message.
thanks,
Andy.
